How we research
We do not run a test lab, and we will never pretend to. Instead, every guide is built from evidence you can check: manufacturer specifications and manuals, ENERGY STAR and DOE efficiency data, AHAM ratings such as CADR for air purifiers, published decibel ratings, warranty terms, recall notices from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and patterns in verified owner reviews.
