Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This policy explains what information Boxofin (boxofin.com) collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us or leave a comment, we receive your name, email address and message. We use it only to reply or to publish your comment.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit) to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies. WordPress may set cookies when you comment, so you do not need to re-enter your details. If we add analytics or newsletter tools in future, they may set their own cookies and this policy will be updated to name them.
Affiliate links
When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer may set a cookie to record that you arrived from Boxofin. This is how we may earn a commission. The retailer’s own privacy policy covers what happens on their site.
Comments and Gravatar
Comments may be checked by an automated spam filter. An anonymised string created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to show your profile picture, if you have one.
How long we keep information
Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Approved comments stay on the site unless you ask us to remove them.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. We do not sell personal information.
Children
Boxofin is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
